This creamy appetizer is a delicious way to use up your leftover boiled eggs from Easter.

I love eating deviled eggs and I knew this tangy dip filled with all the flavors of my favorite appetizer would be a winner.

Serve it at holidays, picnics, and potlucks this spring!

Ingredients

• 6 boiled eggs peeled
• 1/4 cup mayo I use Duke's
• 2 heaping tbsp yellow mustard
• 2 heaping tbsp relish
• 1 tsp hot sauce
• salt white pepper, and paprika to taste
• 2 tbsp chives/green onions diced for topping

Instructions

• . Add all ingredients except the green onions to a food processor or blender.
• Blend until all chunks are gone and it is creamy and smooth.
• Pour into a serving bowl, smoothing the top.
• Garnish with diced green onions.
• Serve with fresh chopped veggies and crackers for dipping.

This recipe is perfect for using up Easter eggs.

Just peel six boiled eggs and add to a food processor or blender. 

Pulse the eggs until they are broken into small bits. 

Add all remaining ingredients (except for green onions) to the blender.

I used hot sauce to taste and ended up adding 1 tsp of this tasty Yellow Bird sauce.

Blend until all chunks are gone and it is creamy and smooth. 

Pour into a serving bowl, smoothing the top.

Garnish with diced green onions. 

Serve with fresh chopped veggies and crackers for dipping. Enjoy!

These vibrant Easter eggs are naturally dyed blue and inspired by my kiddos favorite Disney cartoon, Bluey. 

Who is Bluey? Set in Australia, Bluey is a Blue Heeler puppy who lives with her mum, dad, and little sister, Bingo.  You can watch this adorable show on Disney+.

Stella loves Bluey and is even having a Bluey themed birthday party next month! Stay tuned for all the party details!

What you need:

6-8 large or XL eggs

1/2 head of purple cabbage, roughly chopped

2 tbsp salt

1 tbsp vinegar

card stock, cut into small strips

Bluey themed decal stickers

tape

Directions:

1. Bring a large pot of water to boil on the stove over medium high heat.

2. Gently add eggs and purple cabbage.

3. Next, add salt and vinegar.

4. Let boil for 10 minutes then remove from heat.

5. Let cool in the pot then place in the fridge for at least 6-8 hours. I like to leave it overnight.

6. Carefully remove eggs from the pot and place on a paper towel lined plate to dry off. Discard water and cabbage. 

7. Tape together small strips of cardstock into circles. They should be smaller than the width of the eggs.

8. Add tape to the back, bottom of the Bluey stickers and attach one to each of the cardstock egg holders.

9. Lastly, slip the dried eggs into the Bluey themed egg holders. 

10. Display your Bluey eggs for Easter or peel and use for egg salad or deviled eggs.

I first saw this Easter egg hack on Instagram and immediately thought of making them Bluey themed. 

All you need to naturally dye the eggs a pretty blue is purple cabbage, vinegar, salt, and boiling water. 

Bring a large pot of water to boil on the stove over medium high heat.

Gently add eggs and purple cabbage.

Next, add salt and vinegar.

Let boil for 10 minutes then remove from heat.

Let cool in the pot then place in the fridge for at least 6-8 hours. I like to leave it overnight.

Carefully remove eggs from the pot.

Place on a paper towel lined plate to dry off. Discard water and cabbage.

Tape together small strips of cardstock into circles. They should be smaller than the width of the eggs.

Add tape to the back, bottom of the Bluey stickers and attach one to each of the cardstock egg holders.

I leave the backing on the stickers so they are sturdier and stay flat.

Lastly, slip the dried eggs into the Bluey themed egg holders. 

Display your Bluey eggs for Easter or peel and use for egg salad or deviled eggs.

This fun spring craft only requires boiled eggs, water, paper towels, and food coloring and makes beautiful vibrant and unique Easter eggs.  

What you need:

Large hard boiled eggs, dried and cooled

A variety of food coloring

A roll of paper towels

Small rubber bands

Spray bottle filled with water

Directions: 

1. Use smaller rectangle size paper towels or cut a full size paper towel into two. 

2. Add an egg in the middle of each paper towel and wrap it around the egg completely. 

3. Twist closed at the top and secure with a small rubbed band. Repeats with all eggs.

4. Now get creative and add drops of different shades of food coloring all over each egg. You can do designs or just add drops of color but leave some white space.

5. Next, use a spray bottle filled with water and spray all over the paper towel covered eggs, so the colors bleed all over the towel. Do this over a plate or bowl to catch the mess. You can even wear gloves! 

6. Squeeze the towels to remove any extra water then set the eggs aside to dry.

7. When full dried (we leave ours overnight or use a fan to speed up dry time) remove the rubber bands and unwrap each egg.

8. Display and enjoy your pretty Easter egg creations!

I love when my girls work together on projects. This as such an easy and fun way to decorate our eggs.

I bet we will use this technique every year from now on. 

Creative Stella and Artistic Ava came up with some fun designs. 

Simply wrap a boiled egg in a paper towel, secure, add food coloring drops, then spray with water and dry before unwrapping.

Easter Candy Treat Board

Ingredients

• Edible candy grass
• jelly beans
• Easter gummies
• pastel M&M's
• Peeps bunnies
• Peeps chicks
• chocolate eggs
• chocolate truffles
• marshmallows
• cotton candy

Instructions

• Start with a large Easter egg shaped platter.
• I add the larger items first so add the cotton candy and the edible candy grass nest onto the platter.
• Now add an Easter shaped cookie cutter and filled it with small chocolate candies like jelly beans or pastel M&M's.
• Add a row of bunny peeps and then add two chick peeps on top of the edible nest.
• Finally, fill in with remaining Easter themed candy like gummies, marshmallows, chocolates, eggs, and truffles.
• Serve and enjoy this sweet Easter treat!

This simple springtime dessert is a delicious Easter themed treat featuring colorful fruit and creamy yogurt.

Easter Egg Shaped Dessert Fruit Pizza

Ingredients

• 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
• 1 cup strawberry yogurt
• 1 cup pineapple. sliced
• 1 cup green grapes halved
• 1 cup strawberries sliced
• 1 cup blackberries
• 1 tbsp mint thinly sliced (optional)
• whipped cream for topping

Instructions

• Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
• Lay the puff pastry out and roll it out to a large rectangle.
• Using a small knife, trim the pastry so it is an egg shape. I used a egg shaped platter on top to trace.
• Place on a baking sheet and poke all over with a fork.
• Bake for approx. 15 minutes until golden and puffed up.
• Remove from oven and cool completely.
• Spread the yogurt on the cooled pastry, covering the entire top.
• Now press the fruit in rows in a pattern completely covering the pastry top.
• Optional: sprinkle with chopped mint.
• Slice into rectangles
• Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top and enjoy!

Notes

Inspired by my daughter's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizza Cookbook. 

Start by gathering 3-5 different colored fruits.

I also used strawberry yogurt because I like the flavor and I thought the pink color was pretty for a spring recipe but any flavor yogurt works. 

Lay the sheet of puff pastry out and roll it out to a large rectangle.

Now time to make your Easter egg! I used an egg shaped platter on top to trace.

Using a small knife, trim the pastry so it is an egg shape.

Place on a baking sheet and poke all over with a fork.

Bake for approx. 15 minutes until golden and puffed up.

Remove from oven and cool completely. 

Spread the yogurt on the cooled pastry, covering the entire top.

Now press the fruit in rows in a pattern completely covering the pastry top.

If you’d like you can sprinkle with chopped mint. 

I also like to top my servings with a dollop of whipped cream!

Slice into rectangles and enjoy!

Serve this tasty treat for Easter brunch or as a dessert after a family meal this week.

These bunny themed printable tags are a cute addition to your Easter baskets and treat bags this spring.

Includes 3 adorable watercolor bunny designs in 2 sizes and a sheet of blank bunnies for you to customize with names and decorative paper. 

I customized the blank tags with my daughter’s names and tied them onto treat bags filled with Bunny Bait! 

I have included 2 sizes of bunny tags.

The large tags have each design on their own sheet and are good for Easter baskets.

The smaller tags are all three designs on one sheet and are a good size to attach to treat bags. 

I also included a sheet of blank tags.

These are great for printing on decorative paper or trace onto color paper. You can also  handwrite messages or names on them.

Simply cut out tags, punch a hole on the top of each, and tie the tag on with ribbon or yarn.

Easter Bunny Bait is a sweet and salty snack mix made with a tasty combo of spring themed treats along with cereal, pretzels and yogurt raisins.

Perfect for enjoying during the Easter holidays or adding to Easter baskets as a special treat.

Easter Bunny Bait Snack Mix

Ingredients

• 3 cups pretzel sticks
• 7 oz bag yogurt raisins
• 3 cups Oh's cereal
• 2 cups spring colored small marshmallows
• 1 cup bunny grahams cookies I used birthday cake flavor
• 1 cup Robin's Egg candies
• 1.4 oz mini chocolate bunnies candies I used Russel Stover's Iddy Biddy Bunnies

Instructions

• Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.
• Mix well to combine.
• Scoop into treat bags or store in an airtight container.

I used a mix of all our favorite snacks and springtime themed treats for this snack.

You can customize the cereal and mix ins to your liking.

I used Oh’s cereal, about 3 cups to start. Chex Mix and Cheerios are also tasty.

I added 3 cups pretzel sticks to the bowl next.

Add on yogurt raisins and spring shaped marshmallows to the bowl too.

I also added Annie’s Bunny Grahams cookies in birthday cake flavor. 

Next Robin’s Eggs candies!

1 cup of the Robin’s Eggs chocolate candy is a tasty addition.

You could also use any other colorful chocolate candy like M&M’s. 

I found these cute Iddy Biddy Bunnies chocolate candies so I added them too! 

Sprinkle in one bag of the mini chocolate bunnies.

Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl. 

Stir well to combine. 

Now you have the perfect Easter treat to snack on!

Scoop into treat bags or store in an airtight container.
