Today I am sharing two summer faves with you today! My Creamy Peach Milkshake recipe and my new favorite baby sunscreen, MelanSol.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t want summer to end! Seeing how happy my daughter is splashing in her pool, playing on the slide, or sharing a cupcake or {better yet} a milkshake with me during a lunchtime picnic makes me unbelievably happy. She is my world! Thanks why, as a Mama, I do everything I can to keep her safe. Since we live in the {unbearably} hot South and we spend a lot of our summer time outside, I always make sure my pale skinned beauty has baby sunscreen on. I have tried so many brands and never found one I liked until I recently tried MelanSol Sunscreen for Baby.
I received a bottle of MelanSol Sunscreen for the purpose of this review. This post was made possible by Mom Spark Media. Thoughts are my own.
I don’t have to worry about scary chemicals or ingredients I don’t recognize in this sunscreen since it’s 100% all natural and toxin free. It isn’t greasy, goes on lightweight, and is water resistant for 40 minutes. Ava, like most toddlers, is a wild child that doesn’t like to stay still, so I love that this sunscreen adsorbs immediately and is effective right away so she can jump right in the pool! Also, I love that it is tear free and I don’t have to worry about her rubbing her eyes and it burning her {ouch!}. Ava wore it all weekend long and no sunburn for my girl! Bonus it has green tea as an active ingredient, smelled great, and hydrated and conditioned her skin too!
MelanSol is the only natural sunscreen that uses a high concentration blend of bio-active antioxidants to boost your child’s ability to neutralize free radical damage that is responsible for sunburn, early skin aging, and skin cancer later in life.
MelanSol isn’t just protection for a day in the sun, it’s protection for life.

Now here’s a sweet summer time recipe!

  • 1 ripe yellow or white peach sliced, peeled and pitted
  • whipped cream optional for topping
  • peach slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Place peeled peach in a freezer bag and place in freezer along with the peach yogurt cup.
  • Freeze for 2-3 hours.
  • Scoop ice cream, frozen peach yogurt, frozen peach slices, and milk into a blender.

Peel, pit, and chop a peach.
Then place in a freezer bag and freeze until frozen, about 2-3 hrs.
I also use a cup of peach frozen yogurt. I place in the freezer too.
Scoop ice cream, frozen peach yogurt, frozen peach slices, and milk into a blender.
Blender until desired consistency {it will be thick but I like to leave a few chunks of peach}.
I like to serve mine in chilled mason jars!
Top with whipped cream, a straw, and a peach slice for garnish and enjoy your cool treat!
Nothing better than a refreshing fruit filled milkshake on a hot summer day!

🍳 How fun is this April Fool's Day breakfast egg prank?! My kids love all the silly tricks we do on April 1st so this year I thought of a new one to really fool them. I served "sunny side up eggs" for breakfast, two different ways! Check out the details on the blog. 😂😂😂

Time to be transparent. I have been struggling for a while now. I feel like I lost myself years ago. Self worth is so important and I am just now starting to love and focus on me again. I am not striving to be perfect but I am so excited to be a healthier, happier me this year.

Sundays are for brunchin' 🍳 🥓
My girls and I had a delicious meal at the one of a kind @wellmetcafe . Standouts were the Tokyo Fog drink with yuzu and boba which tasted like Fruit Loops and the amazing Onyx bacon and soft scrambled eggs with creme fraiche.
Next time I can't wait to try the avocado toast and the Taking Back Sunday chicken sandwich. 🥑

One of my favorite quiet spots in all of Missouri - beautiful Roubidoux Springs in Waynesville, MO. We spent so many afternoons here fishing, splashing, hunting for treasures, skipping rocks, having picnics, and cuddling our dogs. I loved being able to visit again yesterday and enjoy the serene environment and warm sunshine. A must see! ☀️
