Happy May! Spring is finally here and I am loving this warmer weather and gorgeous blooming flowers and trees! It was a long winter here in Missouri and spring really is a breath of fresh air.

Besides being outside and enjoying the weather with my family my girls and

We make bird feeders, painted flowers, homemade playdough and chalk, and suncatchers. We love to give our homemade creations and crafts as gifts to our family, friends, and teachers so I created this collection of 60+ Kid Friendly DIY Gifts just in time for Mother’s Day!

All great homemade gift options! I miss those days with the littles. With my teens I'm likely to get something along the lines of a Jonas Brothers cake! ha!

🍳 How fun is this April Fool's Day breakfast egg prank?! My kids love all the silly tricks we do on April 1st so this year I thought of a new one to really fool them. I served "sunny side up eggs" for breakfast, two different ways! Check out the details on the blog. 😂😂😂

Time to be transparent. I have been struggling for a while now. I feel like I lost myself years ago. Self worth is so important and I am just now starting to love and focus on me again. I am not striving to be perfect but I am so excited to be a healthier, happier me this year.

Sundays are for brunchin' 🍳 🥓
My girls and I had a delicious meal at the one of a kind @wellmetcafe . Standouts were the Tokyo Fog drink with yuzu and boba which tasted like Fruit Loops and the amazing Onyx bacon and soft scrambled eggs with creme fraiche.
Next time I can't wait to try the avocado toast and the Taking Back Sunday chicken sandwich. 🥑

One of my favorite quiet spots in all of Missouri - beautiful Roubidoux Springs in Waynesville, MO. We spent so many afternoons here fishing, splashing, hunting for treasures, skipping rocks, having picnics, and cuddling our dogs. I loved being able to visit again yesterday and enjoy the serene environment and warm sunshine. A must see! ☀️
