Pool Party Jello Cups

Ingredients

Blue Jello individual cups
Gummy Bears candy
Peach gummy rings
Sour Ribbon candy cut into squares
paper umbrella decorations

Instructions

Remove top on each Jello cup and place the cups on a serving tray.
Top each cup with a peach ring or a sour ribbon square.
Add a gummy bear on top of each.
Finally, add an open paper umbrella to the center of each Jello cup.
Serve with spoons and enjoy!

This creamy dessert dip is the perfect summer treat! Easily prepared in minutes with just two ingredients, serve this delicious dip with fresh fruit and cookies for dipping.

Strawberry Fluff Fruit Dip

Ingredients

8 oz strawberry cream cheese spread
7 oz jar marshmallow creme
sliced fruit graham crackers or vanilla wafers, for dipping

Instructions

In a medium bowl add the cream cheese and marshmallow cream.
Using a hand mixer, blend until smooth.
Cover and chill until ready to serve.
Serve with sliced fruit and vanilla wafers or graham crackers.

I love that this easy dip is made with just two ingredients: marshmallow creme and strawberry cream cheese.

I served this dessert dip at the monthly Book Bingo that I host at our local library.

I kept it chilled with an ice pack underneath and served with with grapes, strawberries, and vanilla wafer cookies.

It was delicious and a hit with everyone!

Team USA Cheesecake Fruit Tarts

Today is the start of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France!

To celebrate we made these pretty patriotic desserts.

Filled with cheesecake and topped with diced fruit and whipped cream, these tasty bite size tarts are perfect for enjoying during the summer games!

Welcome to this year’s #SummerDessertWeek event hosted by Angie from Big Bear’s Wife. Team USA Cheesecake Fruit Tarts

Ingredients

1/2 cup cheesecake filling
2 tbsp mini blueberries
2 strawberries diced small
12 pack mini tart shells
whipped cream for topping

Instructions

Fill each tart shells with the chilled cheesecake filling. Only add a spoonful or less to fill evenly to the top, smoothing flat.
Add a row of diced strawberries on the left and a row of 3 mini blueberries on the right on top of each cheesecake tart.
Next, add a small squirt of the whipped cream to the middle of each tart in between the fruit. You should now have a red, white, and blue design.
Serve immediately and enjoy !

Start by making the cheesecake filling. Since this was a kid created dish we used cheesecake pudding which was more like a chilled custard but very tasty!

You could also use premade cheesecake filling or, of course, you can make your own!

Prepare cheesecake pudding according to package.

It is an instant mix and the box said to whisk in 2 cups of milk with the dry mix then chill for 5 minutes.

Obviously you won’t use the whole bowl but you will need about 1/2 cup of filling.

I found these mini shortbread tart shells for this dessert at Walmart. They come in a 12 pack.

Now you need two types of fruit- one red and one blue. Since this is a mini dessert I went with small blueberries and diced strawberries.

I used about 1/4 cup diced strawberries and 2 tbsp mini blueberries.

Once the cheesecake filling is chilled and thickened, it’s time to fill the tarts!

Using a small scoop or spoon fill each tart shell with the cheesecake filling.

Only add a spoonful or less to fill evenly to the top, smoothing flat.

Add a row of diced strawberries on the left and a row of 3 mini blueberries on the right on top of each cheesecake tart.

Now you have a red. white, and blue Team USA themed treat!

Serve immediately and enjoy!

Summer Rice Krispies Treat S’mores #SummerDessertWeek

Rice Krispies Treat S’mores are easy to make over the fire and perfectly crispy, gooey, sweet, and chocolatey.

This tasty twist on a summer classic will become your new favorite treat!

One of my favorite summer activities is sitting on our backyard patio with my family making s’mores and hanging out!

Summer Rice Krispies Treat S'mores

Makes 8 s'mores

Ingredients

1 jar marshmallow fluff
2 Hershey's chocolate bars divided
1 box individual Rice Krispies Treats 8ct

Instructions

Open the jar of marshmallow fluff and give it a good stir.
Unwrap the Rice Krispies Treats and start by wedging it on a sturdy metal skewer.
Dunk the Rice Krispies all the way in the jar of marshmallow fluff, using a spoon to smooth and spread all over the sides.
Now roast your marshmallow coated Rice Krispies treat until golden and toasted.
Immediately slide onto a plate and top with a large piece of chocolate bar.
Repeat with remaining ingredients.
Enjoy this gooey treat all season long!

All you need are these three ingredients for a tasty twist on s’mores!

DIY Summertime Bouquet Gift Wrap – Free Printable

Flowers are everywhere here- at the farms, markets, in our neighborhood, and on the trails! My girls, especially my youngest Stella, love picking wildflowers, so I thought making a printable flower wrap would be a sweet idea for wrapping bouquets as a pretty presentation for gift giving.

Fresh picked flowers from the market always brighten my day!

If you don’t have flower markets or wildflowers near you, I recommend Trader Joe’s!

They have a beautiful selection of fresh flowers year round for great prices!

Our favorite local florist has an adorable flower truck they bring to events to make your own bouquets!

My Flower Child(ren).

Start by printing out the floral paper on a full 8×11 sheet.

Roll the paper into a tight cone and tape on the sides to secure.

Trim the bouquet and add directly to the paper wrapped or to keep fresh longer you can wrap the bottom

of the flower bouquet in a damp paper towel then add to a baggie and secure with a rubber band.

Wildflowers, store bought flowers, and even creative wood, feather, and pretty fillers all look lovely!

Such a pretty presentation for a gift or decor!
